CAMPER REGISTRATION

Bandina Christian Youth Camp is for young people of participating churches of Christ and their friends, offering a week of spiritual exercise and Christian fellowship. The camp is located off State Highway 16 between Bandera and Medina in a beautiful, natural setting on the Medina River.

Youngest campers must have completed the 6th grade. Oldest campers are high school graduating seniors.

Campers may arrive between 2 PM and 3:30 PM Sunday, June 7th, but no earlier than 2 PM.

Camp Dress Code

Shorts no higher than 3 inches above the knee may be worn until dinner time. When campers arrive for dinner, they must be wearing long pants or capris below the knee or dresses/skirts below the knee. Tight fitting lycra-spandex items, transparent clothing, and cutoffs are not permitted. Pants are to be worn at the waist. Shirts/blouses are to be worn buttoned in accordance with design. Spaghetti straps are not permitted. Campers must wear shoes any time they are outside the cabin. For hiking and recreation periods, some sort of athletic shoes must be worn. Sandals and flip-flops are permitted at any other time of the day. 

What to Bring

Camp Bandina and its staff are not responsible for loss or damage of camper's property. Bring valuables at your own risk.

  • Study Materials: Paper Bible (smartphones not allowed), notebook, pen/pencil

  • Personal Effects: Towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo, razor, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.

  • Bedding: Sheets, blanket or sleeping bag, pillow

  • Outdoor: Swim suit & cover-up, flashlight, baseball glove, sunscreen, hat/cap, insect repellant, short beach chair or blanket/towel to sit on during worship.

  • Stationary: Paper, envelopes, and stamps (if desired)

  • Camera

  • Musical Instruments: Or other small props/costumes for talent night (if desired)

  • Snacks: Canteen is available for purchase, but campers may bring snacks for their cabin (if desired)

What NOT  to Bring

  • Smartphones: Their use is not permitted during the week of camp. If you must bring one, once arriving at camp, it must be turned off and given to your sponsor for safekeeping. 

  • Tablets, handheld devices, and other electronics

  • Firearms, knives, or fireworks

  • Water pistols or water balloons

  • Skateboards

  • Anything that may get you into trouble or isn't consistent with the mission of spiritual focus and growth.
